Symptoms of rhinorrhoea (runny nose).
Univent Nasal Spray (Ipratropium) is effective in treating a runny nose occurring as a result of allergies such as hay fever. However, it must be noted that this nasal spray is not suitable to treat other symptoms such as sneezing, a stuffy nose, postnasal drip or coughing. Univent Nasal Spray Contains 180 metered doses.
Active Ingredients:
Ipratropium bromide 21mcg/spray (180 metered doses).
Dosage:
For Regular Use -
Adults: Take 2 sprays into each nostril 2 to 3 times daily. 3 to 4 sprays into each nostril may be required by some patients initially to obtain maximum effect.
Children over 12 years: 2 sprays into each nostril twice a day.
•For Symptomatic Relief of Rhinorrhoea Associated with the Common Cold - Adults: Initially 2 sprays into each nostril 3 to 4 times a day, followed by 2 additional sprays five minutes after the first sprays.
Warnings:
Not to be used by children under 12 years of age,
Keep spray away from eyes,
Refer to included leaflet for full directions for use,
Store below 25 degrees Celsius,
Avoid freezing.
